Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum volunteers work to remove track panels from Track 6 to make room for a new switch that will connect our Restoration Building to the rest of the railroad.

Passenger Car Roof Weekend


With the help of many members over the entire weekend, the roof of the Pine Falls has received some much-needed attention. Here, volunteer Chris Hauf applies primer in preparation for more black paint.

Museum Receives Donation of Inspection Vehicle


The Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum received the donation of the completely restored "Rail Rod" one-man track car from one of the museum's volunteers. This modern lightweight cart was used for track inspection and signal maintenance. The Rail Rod will be displayed as part of the museum's current exhibits. The museum would like to thank the donor for his great restoration and generous donation.

Darth Maul meets EK 9


Starting Up EK 9 - Chris Hauf begins the process of starting up Eastman Kodak RS-1 #9 at the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum.
